The Flea Circus

My major update is coming along nicely. I made a wonderful pre-made layout that I almost set as my site's layout. Click! I've also made a few nice enter signs and blank buttons. All of the avatars are great -- I'm really proud of them. Here are a few:

So, nothing very interesting is going on in my life. All I really do is eat Special K, chill on the computer, and take pictures of my cat sitting in plants.

She likes that plant. Lately, though, she likes to lay on my bed and hiss at me when I try to pet her. The best part is that last night, I found a few fleas walking across her little white tummy. So cat with fleas + owner's bed = owner with fleas. Well, I don't have fleas, but they're in my bed and they bite me and they itch. Don't you wish you had a cat?

I've been playing Zoo Tycoon a lot. I forgot how much fun it was! I popped in the disc last night, and I ended up playing for three hours straight. I decided to stop when I accidentally knocked the keyboard on the floor... I was trying to cross my legs, and one got caught on the cord. So now my D key is a little stubborn. I'll get used to it.

LOZ + Vitamin Water?

Legend of Zelda + Vitamin Water = A very simple Lakebed Temple.

Ah, yes. I've started playing Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess again. I'm not as interested in videogames as much as I used to be (especially when my Zelda fanaticism was at its highest), but Twilight Princess never get old. Same with Wind Waker. I could aimlessly sail about the Great Sea upon The King of Red Lions forever... But anyways. I played Twilight Princess today while drinking Vitamin Water and got through the dreaded Lakebed Temple pretty quickly. That's the one thing I really hate about the Legend of Zelda games: the dungeons are endless. I really don't enjoy them. But today I completed my least favorite dungeon, the Water Temple, a heck of a lot faster than before. (Or, in my mind, I did.) So, my fellow Legend of Zelda fans, try sipping some Vitamin Water while you're fighting Bokoblins and Bublins. Balance, preferably.

Hah. I'm a loser.

Anyways, my summer's going by pretty slowly. I saw Wall-E last week. I really liked it. But I love all Pixar movies. Tomorrow I'm going to see Mamma Mia, and I'm really looking forward to that. Actually, my last layout featured Amanda Seyfried, who stars in Mamma Mia. I thought that was cool, because I had never heard of her until I watched a segment on the Today Show about her.

My Major update is coming along nicely. I actually made a brush set, even though I was fairly sure I'd end up sneaking that task off of the list. But I didn't. I've been working on those 25 avatars. I've got 17 so far, and they're all very nice. As for everything else... I'll get to it. I still have...
- 25 non-animated avatars
- 35 icon backgrounds
- 35 avatar backgrounds
- 15 enter signs
- 52 blank buttons
- 1 brush set
- 20 color schemes
- 3 pre-made layouts

new layout!

New layout! I'm not sure if I like it that much, but it's much better than the other one. Instead of using images from the Internet, I used a picture I took myself. I hope everyone likes it!

I decided that I should get rid of everything on my site that uses celebrity images. Apparently it's illegal, which makes very little sense to me. Why are their pictures copyrighted? What if I took a picture of myself and put it on the Internet? What if people used that picture for graphics? Would they get fined or put in jail? No. Because I'm just a regular person. Celebrities really drive me nuts. Anyways, I'm getting rid of my blends (I don't even know what purpose those served anyways), a few pre-made layouts, and a couple icons. It's not as much of a loss as I thought it would be. I only used celebrity images because they were popular amonst websites. Unfortunately, I made this gorgeous pre-made layout featuring Hayden Panettiere (again, just because she's popular), and I was really looking forward to putting it up. Oh well. I guess I'll have to jack images from DeviantArt now. Some of those are copyrighted, too, but most aren't. THey have some good stuff. It's just really hard to find.

I decided to make a to-do list for my major update.
- 25 avatars (non-animated; I don't have the patience to animate them anymore)
- 35 icon backgrounds
- 35 avatar backgrounds
- 15 enter signs
- 52 blank buttons (18 for each size)
- 1 brush set (this isn't likely to happen)
- 20 color schemes
- 3 pre-made layouts

So that's... 186 indivual graphics. Wow. Well, I better get on that!
